"Even I can see the strong bond between Keegan and you. Most dogs that I know of, when their time is going to be up, it's in their nature to try to stay away from their owners. But for Keegan, I can see that she wants to spend her days with you. She's always looking towards the door as if she's waiting for you. When you came, her eyes lit up. She doesn't have the strength to whack her tail, but I could see it from her eyes. Maybe she's trying to tell you that no matter what happens, she'll be okay. Even if she goes, she'll still be there for you. There comes a point in time in which there is nothing you can do anymore. I believe she knows that you have done all that you could and that you love her very much. I'm sure that she is proud to be yours."
