Honestly speaking, there is no need to keep reminding me about who left.
Or how glad you are that they left.
Yeah, they made the right decision to. I can see that.
They are happy and that's good. I'm happy for them.
End of story.
but no.
it never really ends, does it?
All these constant little reminders of just how much misery I bring to those people.
All these constant little reminders,
like pliers to ply open the holes,
letting the nasty demons out.
Especially in nights like these,
there is really only yourself to deal with the demons within.
sometimes when you get told a lot about something,
that still concerns you, was a part of you,
you can only do so much to not let it get to you.
after a long while,
after the struggles,
you don't always win.
sometimes, they win.
