It can be so easy to fall in love, but yet so hard to stay in love..
Widened eyes stared in disbelief at the woman lying on the gurney in front of her. Her mouth was slightly open, making it easier to breath. However, the air left her parted lips shakily, slowly.
Blood covered that woman’s face, body and fell onto the dusty ground, tinting everything from a scarlet red. Her eyes were tightly closed, as if she was still in pain. The blankets coated her legs, not letting her see how injured they were.
Her knees began to shake and she fell onto the wet ground. She didn’t know why she was feeling so sad about her death; they had broken up some months ago after talking so much about it. She thought it was the best thing they could do; how wrong she was.
[Name] felt very lonely these months she stopped visiting her, these months where hugs and kisses had turned into a simple wave when they exchanged glances. It had been awkward… and painful. She really missed her, and that’s why she had decided to have a talk with her, to try to return things like they were before.
She couldn’t help the despair that filled her broken heart and the hot tears that rolled down her cheeks. She couldn’t help but think her death was her whole fault; for not being there to stop her from taking the car. Her friends had told her that she was angry with herself for letting her go, when she was the only woman she’d been so in love with.
That’s why she left the party she was at. She didn’t feel like celebrating something, now that she wasn’t with her anymore. Because she couldn’t be happy without her, she felt so incomplete.
If she had been there with her, nothing would had happened. She’d be wrapped in her warm arms, hearing the regular yet fast beat of her heart as she smile down at her. Then her lips would brush against hers softly, and she’d smile at her, returning those feelings she showered her every time.
[Name] knew that’d be an impossible dream now; she had been too late.
